Welcome to ManaMurah. These terms are an agreement between you and [YOUR FULL NAME OR BUSINESS NAME] ("we", "us"), and they apply when you use the ManaMurah app. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Please also read our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your information.

What ManaMurah is

ManaMurah is a community app where people in Brunei share and check prices of groceries and retail products. Prices come from other users, not from us or from the shops.

Using the app

• You must be at least 13 years old.
• Give accurate information when you sign up, and keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• One person should use one account. Please do not create extra accounts to get around limits or to vote on your own prices.
• The app has limits on how much you can add per hour. They are there to stop spam and are not a penalty.

Prices and information are not guaranteed

Prices are shared by the community. They can be wrong, out of date or for a promotion that has ended. Verification labels, votes and badges show what other users think, not a promise that a price is correct. Always check the price at the shelf or till. We are not responsible for any decision you make, or any loss you suffer, from relying on information in the app.

What you may and may not do

You agree not to:

• submit prices you know are false, or prices you did not actually see;
• upload photos that show people's faces, personal information, or anything offensive, illegal or misleading;
• upload photos or text you do not have the right to share;
• harass or impersonate other people, or use the app to advertise or spam;
• vote or report dishonestly, for example to harm a shop or another user;
• try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the app or its data, or collect data from it in bulk;
• use the app in any way that breaks the law.

Your content

You keep ownership of the prices, photos and other content you submit ("your content"). By submitting it, you give us a free, worldwide, non-exclusive right to store, display, copy and adapt it as needed to run and improve ManaMurah, including showing it to other users. You confirm that you have the right to give us this permission.

Prices and photos are visible to all users. If you delete your account, your photos and reports are deleted, and the prices, products and shops you added stay in the app without your name, as explained in the Privacy Policy.

Moderation

Moderators and we may review content and reports. We can edit, merge or remove content, and warn, limit or suspend accounts that break these terms or harm the community, with or without notice. If you think we made a mistake, contact us.

Product information from other sources

Some product details may come from Open Food Facts, Open Beauty Facts or Open Products Facts (openfoodfacts.org, openbeautyfacts.org, openproductsfacts.org), which are provided under the Open Database Licence (ODbL).

Shops

ManaMurah is independent. We are not connected to any shop unless we say so. Shop names and logos belong to their owners. Verified businesses are described in "Business accounts" below.

Business accounts

These rules are for anyone who registers a business in the app. They are in addition to everything above.

Registering

• You may register a business only if you are allowed to act for it. Give accurate details: the business name, its company registration number, a business phone number and email address, and the name and position of a contact person.
• We check these details before approving a business. This may include looking up the registration number, and calling or emailing the contact. We may approve or reject an application, and we do not have to give a reason beyond what we show you in the app.
• Giving false or misleading details, or claiming a shop that is not yours, is serious and can lead to rejection, removal of your business and suspension of your account.

Shops and branches

• You tell us which shops your business runs, and which branches of them. Each branch must be approved. To add a branch later you must send the branch's phone number, the name and position of the person who runs it, and its address, and we may check them.
• A shop branch can be verified for only one business at a time. If two businesses claim the same branch, we decide, and we may ask for proof.
• We may remove a shop or branch from your business if it is not yours, no longer yours, or was approved by mistake.

The Business badge

• Prices you submit at your approved branches show a "Business" badge. It means you verified your business with us. It does not mean the price is correct, and the community can still vote on it and report it.
• You must submit only true, current prices. You must not use your business account to give false prices for another business, or to mislead or pressure other users.

Prices at your branches belong to the community

• Anyone can submit and vote on prices at your branches, including prices lower or higher than yours. You cannot edit or remove other people's prices. If you think a price is wrong, use the report button.

Featured deals

• A verified business can feature some of its current prices, up to the limit of its plan. A featured deal is labelled "Featured" and appears for a limited time, in an order chosen by us that gives each business a turn.
• A featured deal is shown only while it is still the current price at that branch. It must be a real price that a customer can get. We may remove a featured deal that is misleading or breaks these terms.
• We do not promise how many people will see a featured deal, tap it or buy anything because of it. We may change the limits, the time and the way featured deals are shown.
• Featuring a deal does not change prices, votes, search results or which price is shown as the lowest.

Plans and fees

• Each branch has a plan. At the moment business features are free. We may introduce paid plans, for example for more featured deals or for view statistics. We will tell you the price and what you get before you pay, and we will not charge you without your agreement.
• If a plan ends or changes, featured deals already running finish their time, and the new limits apply to new ones.
• Paid plans may show you anonymous totals, such as how many times a product page or a featured deal was viewed. These totals do not tell you who looked. You must not try to identify anyone from them.

Suspension and closing

• We may remove the Business badge, featured deals or your whole business if you break these terms, abuse the features, or give us details that turn out to be untrue.
• To close a business, contact us. If you own a registered business, we need to close or hand it over before your account can be deleted.

No guarantees

• We do not promise that being verified, featured or on a paid plan will bring you customers or sales, and we are not responsible for lost sales or profit.

Ending your use

You can stop using the app, or delete your account, at any time from your profile. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms. Parts of these terms that are meant to continue, such as the rules about content you gave us and the limits on our responsibility, will continue.

Our responsibility

We try to keep ManaMurah running well, but it is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise it will always work, be error-free, or be available at all times. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by information users have submitted. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the law that cannot be limited.

Changes

We may change these terms or the app. If we make an important change, we will tell you in the app. If you keep using ManaMurah after a change, you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Brunei Darussalam, and the courts of Brunei Darussalam can hear any dispute about them.
